Antibody raincoat keeps muscle stem cells young

Researchers spotlight a precision “immuno-prevention” strategy for sarcopenia, showing that an antibody called 1H41C10 shields the muscle-repair molecule HGF from oxidative damage and restores its ability to activate stem cells in lab tests. The findings suggest that protecting this single growth factor, rather than broadly fighting free radicals, could one day translate into therapies that preserve muscle strength and function as we age.
